Park and Ride
We understand that often you just want to be out enjoying your boat and don't want
the hassle of launching and retrieving for yourself.
For one whole year, we will park and store your boat and trailer in our extensive
Park and Ride Facilities.
Ample parking, toilets, water & electricity are available. Whenever you wish
to be launched, seven days a week from 9:30 till 5:00pm we will launch you by tractor
(you don't even get your feet wet). and retrieve you when finished and put your
boat in the storage yard.

Latest News! Slipway down to low water
Some 70' of extra concrete and stone have been laid to take the slipway to
spring low tide! This is an exclusive slipway for Brightlingsea Boatyard.
This means good news; Park and Ride will be exclusively operating from our
slipway. We will no longer be using the town hard. Huge time savings and
efficiency gains will mean that there will be shorter waiting times.
We are now starting to put in the dinghy rack store to the left hand side of the
top of the slip, from which we plan to lay a floating jetty for the ease of park and
riders in tying up and coming ashore.
There may be two or three occasions per year at very low spring tide, where they
may be half an hour or so wait before recovery. Usually these tides occur very
early in the morning or early evening.
