NEW Eastyard Walk-on pontoons

picture of new walk-on pontoons Just completed - we are pleased to present our new fully serviced walk-on pontoons.   Usage approximately 10.5 hours out of 12 hours on the south face and 9 out of 12 hours on the north face. The pontoons do ground completely out.  These pontoons are not suitable for fin keelers.  Limited spaces.  Please phone for details.

Upper pontoon - are more "walk on mud berth moorings" again fully serviced, but float for 1 - 2 hours only out of 12. Ideal winter layup berths or fit-out berths. Access for the pontoons is from the yard car park, through buildings, accross sales yard and down the pontoon. The buildings and the pontoons are lit at night.

Bow onto quay side with soft mud, will take up to 60ft vessels. Walk on gang planks for bow or small jetties. Electricity and water from pods on quay front which light at night for safer access. Floats most 3ft drafts for approx. 3 hours out of 12. Access is from the boatyard car park through security gate in east yard.

Low cost, soft mud, which will float for 1-2 hours in 12. Electricity and water are available in nearby pods. Facilities for storing a dinghy and arrangements can be made for a gang plank for walking on to bow.

On the south side of Cindery Island with easy access to the river Colne and sea, fore and aft trot moorings with excellent water. Most cruisers and shallow draft bilge keel yachts will not touch on low tide neep but can touch soft mud at low tide spring water. Not suitable for deep fin keel boats. No electricity or water. Access by dinghy or local ferry.
